Still you are rockin' it, "frankentitties" or no. LOL. Never heard that one before!!! Tush you show us the way.
I'm sure you will maintain your motivation to do the reduced sugars and changed foods, which would for me be the HARDEST THING.
It's really changing a LIFETIME of our familiar eating habits. If everybody around you can adapt, that will make it so much easier!
And I hope you get to do some water sports things that you love!

I'm so glad you're doing well!
What did the Oncologist say?

Start the kisquali, repeat labs and eggs every 2 weeks for 2 mos then monthly, can cause what's called QT Lengthening which is the time it takes your ventricle to reset which electrically can cause bad arrhythmia.
They also want me to do the bone density infusions every 6 mos as it can also cause osteoporosis even though my dexa was normal. The reasoning is studies are showing less recurrence in patients that have them. I certify dont want dusty bones so I guess I'm doing that too.
Next mamm in Dec.
Having cancer and beating it is a gift but also a giant PIA.

Well it has been 2 weeks since you last updated, and I hope no news means all GOOD news!

Thanks for checking in.
I followed my normal behaviors and didn't share my diagnosis and treatment publicly due to not wanting others to worry or feel the need to care for me.
Its a fault and I know it.
Things are good. Pretty much all side effects of radiation have resolved but have had a new round of tissue slough from my lung and skin on the treated side. See the oncologist next week meds are being tolerated with no significant side effects. Still dealing with some odd pains secondary to lymph nodes I think.
Have plenty of other ish to keep me worried including my bestie from childhood dealing with a rare dementia at 55 to the point she is essentially bedbound and unable to function.
To my own mother's dementia progression to the point of not being able to care for self safely and losing her independence which I had called for taking care keys 6 mos ago. My dad finally gets it.
So life stressor have been high but can use all positive energy, vibes, mojo and prayers.

Tushnurse,
I'm really sorry you're dealing with so much at once, but I can't tell you how relieved I am to hear you're health is returning and cancer is in remission. I hate cancer. Lost my FIL last November to it.
Keep doing what you're doing!

Big hugs all the way around to you. Remember to take your moments to relax and cry and smile and anything in between. That’s a lot to deal with at once.
